Tracee Ellis Ross Partners with DWR on West Hollywood Office

Tracee Ellis Ross recently partnered with Design Within Reach (DWR) to design a new creative space for PATTERN Beauty in West Hollywood, also the home of her production company, Joy Mill Entertainment. More than just a workspace, it’s an expressive environment that reflects the spirit of both brands and Tracee’s creative vision.

In close collaboration with DWR’s Design Concierge team, she curated a rich mix of furniture, lighting, and décor—from sleek midcentury icons to bold post-modern statements.

Inspired by PATTERN Beauty’s brand palette, the space layers warm textures, soft velvets, and rich woods to create a sense of serenity and optimism. Playful upholstery patterns like Girard Stripes and Checkers add a touch of whimsy. From shared gathering areas to quiet corners, the space invites calm, sparks innovation, and celebrates individuality.
“Over time, PATTERN Beauty has grown into a platform for self-expression, creativity, and community, and moving into our first office was an incredible and meaningful milestone. It’s a physical embodiment of our brand’s values—warmth, individuality, and creativity. It’s a space where my team can feel supported, inspired, and at home. And as Joy Mill Entertainment grew, we needed a space that could keep up with our energy and vision.” - Tracee Ellis Ross
